On the palate, this high-ABV gem delivered a delightful burst of strawberry jam and orange peel, draped in creamy vanilla. As the flavors unfolded, a subtle spice emerged mid-symphony, balanced by the youthful vibrancy of malt.
The finish, a medium-length parting kiss, lingered with spiced fruit and warmth, making this dram effortlessly enjoyable without a drop of water—proof that some things in life simply need no embellishment.
With our palates primed, the spotlight turned to one of The Macallans' many highlights: The 18-Year-Old Double Cask expression, a whisky as complex and elegant as its legacy demands.
